(8) The terms of the Cairo Declaration shall be carried out and Japanese sovereignty
shall be limited to the islands of Honshu , Hokkaido , Kyushu, Shikoku
and such minor islands as we determine.

八 カイロ宣言ノ條項ハ履行セラルベク又日本國ノ主權ハ本州、北海道、九州及四國
竝ニ吾等ノ決定スル諸小島ニ局限セラルベシ
局限された諸小島とはどこだ。
沖縄、小豆島、淡路島、その他、３９２２もあるらしいから、どこで局限されたんだろう。
文書はあるのかな。

Article 2
第二条
(a) Japan recognizing the independence of Korea, renounces all right,
title and claim to Korea, including the islands of Quelpart, Port Hamilton and Dagelet.
日本国は、朝鮮の独立を承認して、済洲島、巨文島及び欝陵島を含む朝鮮に対する
すべての権利、権原及び請求権を放棄する。
(b) Japan renounces all right, title and claim to Formosa and the Pescadores.
日本国は、台湾及び澎湖諸島に対するすべての権利、権原及び請求権を放棄する。
(c) Japan renounces all right, title and claim to the Kurile Islands, and
to that portion of Sakhalin and the islands adjacent to it over which
Japan acquired sovereignty as a consequence of the Treaty of Portsmouth of
5 September 1905.
日本国は、千島列島並びに日本国が千九百五年九月五日のポーツマス条約の
結果として主権を獲得した樺太の一部及びこれに近接する諸島に対するすべての
権利、権原及び請求権を放棄する。
(d) Japan renounces all right, title and claim in connection with the League of
Nations Mandate System, and accepts the action of the United Nations Security
Council of 2 April 1947, extending the trusteeship system to the Pacific Islands
formerly under mandate to Japan.
日本国は、国際連盟の委任統治制度に関連するすべての権利、権原及び請求権
を放棄し、且つ、以前に日本国の委任統治の下にあつた太平洋の諸島に信託統治制度を
及ぼす千九百四十七年四月二日の国際連合安全保障理事会の行動を受諾する。
(e) Japan renounces all claim to any right or title to or interest in connection with
any part of the Antarctic area, whether deriving from the activities of Japanese
nationals or otherwise.
日本国は、日本国民の活動に由来するか又は他に由来するかを問わず、南極地域の
いずれの部分に対する権利若しくは権原又はいずれの部分に関する利益についても、
すべての請求権を放棄する。
(f) Japan renounces all right, title and claim to the Spratly Islands and to the Paracel Islands.
日本国は、新南群島及び西沙群島に対するすべての権利、権原及び請求権を放棄する。
Article 3
第三条
Japan will concur in any proposal of the United States to the United Nations to place
under its trusteeship system, with the United States as the sole administering authority,
Nansei Shoto south of 29deg. north latitude (including the Ryukyu Islands and the Daito Islands),
Nanpo Shoto south of Sofu Gan (including the Bonin Islands, Rosario Island and
the Volcano Islands) and Parece Vela and Marcus Island.
日本国は、北緯二十九度以南の南西諸島(琉球諸島及び大東諸島を含む。)、
孀婦岩の南の南方諸島(小笠原群島、西之島及び火山列島を含む。)並びに沖の鳥島及び
南鳥島を合衆国を唯一の施政権者とする信託統治制度の下におくこととする国際連合に
対する合衆国のいかなる提案にも同意する。
ポツダム宣言で「・・竝ニ吾等ノ決定スル諸小島ニ局限セラルベシ」の諸小島の限定はどこにある？
サンフランシスコ講和条約にはない様子。
３９２２もある小島はだれのものなのだろう。
現実に日本が実行支配してるから、日本のものなのかな。
沖縄やその諸島は第３条でアメリカの占領を認めたようだ。
尖閣諸島が琉球諸島に含まれたのでアメリカに占領、その後に返還されて、
日本領土と考えてよいのか。違うようにも思う。
ポツダム宣言読むと、尖閣諸島が古来より日本の領土であろうとなかろうと関係ない
感じもする。
サンフランシスコ講和条約で３９２２の島がどうなのか明文化しなかった失敗か。
逆によかったのか？。
国の意地もあるだろうが、特に負ける戦争はしては駄目だ。
しかし、負けて勝つという言葉もあるが、負けて良かったのかな～と思う気持ちもあり複雑。
負けた相手がよかった？、最後まで頑張ったのがよかった？、まだやるぞと言う勢力がいて
良かった？、なんだろう。
